Synopsis
David Aames, a wealthy publishing heir, lives a charmed life until a car accident with his jealous ex-lover, Julie Gianni, leaves him horribly disfigured. After surgery, he begins experiencing strange phenomena where reality and illusion blur. He falls in love with Sofia Serrano but struggles to keep her due to his complicated past with Julie. As David's mental state deteriorates, he is charged with murder and recounts his story to Dr. McCabe, trying to decipher what's real from his dreams or nightmares.
