Synopsis
Alice Bonnard, an adolescent girl, returns home for her summer vacation from boarding school in 1963. She finds her family farce and life at their provincial farm house boring. Alice begins to explore her sexuality as she becomes infatuated with Jim, a worker at her father's sawmill. Throughout the summer, Alice engages in sexual fantasies and self-exploration, ultimately helping her understand the realm of sex more clearly.
