Synopsis
Martin returns to live with his romantic father and idealist younger brother Gabriel after growing tired of life. Martin tries hard to warn Gabriel about falling in love but things change when Mathilde, a gambler, enters their lives.

Résumé
Un début prometteur is a French comedy-drama film directed by Emma Luchini in 2015. The movie focuses on the relationship between brothers Martin and Gabriel. After Martin returns home due to his dissatisfaction with life, he tries to guide Gabriel towards a more practical outlook on love, especially after meeting Mathilde, who complicates their lives.
