Synopsis
A Swedish family consisting of Tomas, Ebba, and their two children embark on a skiing vacation in the French Alps. During lunch at a mountain restaurant, an avalanche starts, causing diners to flee. Ebba tries to protect their children while Tomas, initially unaware of his family's whereabouts, runs for safety. Although the avalanche proves to be non-lethal, the incident shakes the family's dynamics. Tomas' role as the patriarch is called into question, and his marriage with Ebba becomes strained as he struggles to reclaim his position.
