Synopsis
Sarah Reeves Merrin moves from San Francisco to New York City to escape her privileged life and learn about her biological parents. She takes on her birth mother's last name, Merrin, and settles into the same apartment where her mother once lived. Sarah shares this apartment with Romy Sullivan, a struggling actress who is reminiscent of Sarah's mother. While navigating her new city life, Sarah befriends John Maguire (a musician), Joss House (a bar waitress), Cecilia (their eccentric landlady), and J.B. (a friendly neighbor). Sarah's journey involves adjusting to her new environment and exploring her biological heritage.
