Synopsis
Suden vuosi (2007) follows Sari, a talented student with epilepsy, and Mikko, an unhappily married middle-aged lecturer who's obsessed with 18th-century poetry. Their worlds collide when Mikko begins teaching at the same university as Sari. Despite their age difference and Mikko's troubled marriage, they embark on a passionate affair. The relationship is complicated by Sari's health issues and Mikko's reluctance to leave his wife.
