Synopsis
David Sumner, an American astrophysicist, moves to a small town in rural Cornwall, England with his English wife Amy to escape city violence. David is initially viewed as an outsider by the local men, including Amy's former flame Charlie, who take advantage of him and bully him. The situation escalates when two locals rape Amy. This act awakens a hidden violent side in David, leading to a brutal confrontation between David and the locals at their home.
