Synopsis
Ex-policeman Lenny Nero makes a living selling illegal recordings called 'Squid' that allow users to experience others' emotions and memories. On New Year's Eve in dystopian Los Angeles, he receives a recording showing a brutal murder. He becomes obsessed with finding the woman being attacked and uncovering the truth behind her disappearance.

Résumé
Directed by Kathryn Bigelow, 'Strange Days' is a cyberpunk thriller set in dystopian Los Angeles on New Year's Eve of 1999. The film explores themes of virtual reality, voyeurism, police brutality, and the blurred line between reality and illusion through Nero's search for truth amidst a world of criminality and corruption.
