Synopsis
Sonnenallee follows the antics of a group of kids growing up on the Sonnenallee street in Berlin, near one of the few border crossings between East and West Germany reserved for German citizens. The film illustrates the absurdity of everyday life during this time through the experiences of these kids, their families, and the 'West German' friends and relatives who visit them.
