Synopsis
Andrew returns to his hometown after a long absence to claim an old inheritance left by his father: a semi-ruined house that's about to be declared a historic monument. However, his plans are complicated when his brother Ramon also wants to buy the house. Andrew's relationships with his family, including his brother Ramon, as well as with the local attorney Don Dimas and his daughter Whitey, become complicated due to this inheritance dispute.

Résumé
Soldados de plomo is a Spanish drama film directed by José Sacristán and released in 1983. The movie centers around Andrew, who returns to his hometown after being away for a long time. His father was previously part of the military high society but abandoned his wife to be with Andrew's mother, a former cupletista singer from the second row. The reason for Andrew's return is to claim an inheritance left by his father, which is a semi-ruined house that's about to be declared a historic monument. However, his desire to settle this matter quickly is disrupted when his brother Ramon also expresses interest in buying the house, leading to complications in their relationships.
