Synopsis
The movie 'Sniper. The White Raven' (2022) follows Mykola, a physics teacher and initially an eccentric pacifist from Donbass, Ukraine. His life takes a dramatic turn when his pregnant wife is killed and their home burned by invading soldiers during the conflict in Donbas. Consumed by grief and desire for revenge, Mykola enlists in a sniper company. He eventually encounters the Russian sniper responsible for his wife's death, leading to an emotional breakdown and a personal vendetta. Throughout his journey, Mykola arranges sniper attacks on the enemy, intending to change the tide of the conflict. However, his instructor saves him from certain death before being mortally wounded himself, leaving Mykola determined to sacrifice his life for revenge.
