Histoire
Ricky Nasser, a young Arab Australian, lives a peaceful suburban life until his sister Ameena, a Slam poet, suddenly disappears without trace. In a society marred by distrust and xenophobia, Ameena's disappearance raises suspicions that she has joined the ranks of ISIS in Syria. Ricky struggles to navigate this 'post-facts' world where he can no longer distinguish between what's right and the relentless media spin. Haunted by his childhood trauma and the clash of cultures, Ricky must unravel the truth about his sister's disappearance while confronting the harsh realities of Islamophobia and racism.
