Synopsis
Sixteen Candles follows Samantha Baker (Molly Ringwald), who feels overlooked and unappreciated as her entire family focuses on her older sister's upcoming wedding. On her 16th birthday, she worries that her crush, popular senior Jake Ryan (Michael Schoeffling), will find her too inexperienced for him.
