Synopsis
The story follows Karen Silkwood (Meryl Streep), a metallurgy worker at the Kerr-McGee plutonium processing plant in Oklahoma. After discovering dangerous safety violations and being purposefully contaminated, she decides to blow the whistle on these practices.
