Synopsis
The movie 'Saving Silverman' follows the comedic misadventures of two friends who intervene to prevent their third friend from marrying a woman they believe is not right for him. The friends, Darren and Wayne, are part of a Neil Diamond cover band with the groom-to-be, Sam Silverman. When Sam falls in love with the controlling and manipulative Vanessa, his former friends kidnap him in an attempt to dissuade him from going through with the marriage. Their elaborate scheme involves tying Sam to a chair, torturing him with Neil Diamond songs for three days, and even involving a psychiatrist to declare Sam insane.
