Synopsis
Irma Caspari, once a student but now working as a cleaning woman, begins her job at the luxurious Schwarz family residence. Frau Dr. Schwarz, a judge, is soon to be elected state's supervising judge. Irma, who has strong opinions about the wealthy, uses their amenities freely during her work hours. One day, she discovers an imprisoned elderly woman in the cellar, groaning in pain. Irma decides to intervene and help the captive woman.

Résumé
Putzfraueninsel is a 1996 German comedy film directed by Peter Timm. The story revolves around Irma Caspari, a former student turned cleaning woman who works for the affluent Schwarz family.
