Synopsis
The film follows Carmen, a member of a terrorist gang planning to rob a bank. During this heist, she meets and seduces a young police officer named Joseph guarding the bank. Throughout their relationship, Godard intercuts scenes with a string quartet practicing Beethoven's music. As Carmen leads Joseph deeper into her criminal world, they both hurtle towards an inevitable tragic end.
