Synopsis
Photographer Charles Castle is deeply grief-stricken after the loss of his wife. He goes to fight in World War I and continues his profession there. After the war, he's given photographs supposedly depicting fairies. Intrigued by these images, he sets out to uncover their authenticity, leading him to the seemingly idyllic yet secret-filled village of Burkinwell.

Résumé
Directed by Nick Willing in 1997, 'Photographing Fairies' is a fantasy drama based on a novel. The film follows Charles Castle, a grieving widower who becomes obsessed with photographs claiming to show fairies. Set during the early 20th century, the story revolves around Arthur Conan Doyle's involvement in the Cottingley Fairy photographs incident.
