Synopsis
Passion (2012) centers around the toxic rivalry between Isabelle (Noomi Rapace), a manipulative advertising agency boss, and her talented protégé, Christine (Rachel McAdams). The tension escalates from Isabelle taking credit for Christine's ideas to public humiliation. In a pivotal scene, after a drunken night out, Isabelle seduces Christine in a dream sequence that appears to be consensual but is later revealed to be a form of blackmail and manipulation. When Christine discovers Isabelle's embezzlement, she threatens to expose her. To cover her tracks and maintain her position, Isabelle frames Christine for murder, leading to the story's climax.

Directed by Brian De Palma, Passion (2012) is a remake of Alain Corneau's 'Crime d'amour'.
