Synopsis
Sy 'the photo guy' Parrish develops photos for the Yorkin family over many years, creating a delusional sense of belonging to their family as he sees their son grow up through the pictures. However, reality sets in when Sy's voyeuristic tendencies and loneliness lead him to become obsessed with the family, culminating in unsettling consequences.

Résumé
One Hour Photo is a tense psychological thriller directed by Mark Romanek, released in 2002. The film explores themes of loneliness, obsession, and voyeurism through the character of Sy Parrish, played by Robin Williams. Sy works at a photo lab and becomes deeply invested in the lives of one family, the Yorkins, whom he has developed photos for since their son was a baby. As his attachment to them grows, it takes on disturbing dimensions, leading to an intense and suspenseful confrontation.
