Synopsis
On Mother's Day in 1924, Jane Fairchild, a house maid for the Niven family, finds herself alone with no duties to attend to. She seizes this rare opportunity to spend time with her secret lover, Paul Sheringham, who lives nearby and is engaged to another woman. The day begins idyllically, but unforeseen events will dramatically alter Jane's life trajectory.
