Synopsis

After graduating in Mathematics, German student Stefan Brückner hitchhikes from Lübeck to Paris. In Paris, he meets Estelle Miller at a party and soon falls in love with her despite warnings from his new friend Charlie. After breaking into a house with Charlie to rob it, Stefan follows Estelle to Ibiza where she is staying at Dr. Ernesto Wolf's hotel. Stefan persuades Estelle to leave the hotel with him and move into an isolated seaside house. Before leaving, Estelle steals 200 doses of heroin from Wolf. Once settled in their new home, Stefan and Estelle begin experimenting with heroin, marking the beginning of their descent into addiction.

More (1969) is a French-German drama film directed by Barbet Schroeder, based on the novel 'The Trip' by Jean-Claude Carrière. The film follows German student Stefan Brückner's journey from Paris to Ibiza with American girl Estelle Miller, as they become ensnared in heroin addiction. The narrative explores themes of youth culture, experimentation, and the consequences of reckless behavior during the late 1960s. Notably, the film features music by Pink Floyd.
