Synopsis
The story begins with the New Year's Day murder of Thomas Becker (Matthias Koeberlin), son of a powerful building contractor played by Heiner Lauterbach. Commissioner Barbara Falck (Sabine Winterfeldt) and her colleague Christian Krämer (Wolf Danny Homann) are assigned to investigate the crime. As they delve deeper, they suspect a connection between Thomas' death and the previous collapse of a structure called 'the cube', where a young cleaner had died. The investigation leads them to consider if Thomas' murder was an act of revenge against his father's company, Becker and Sons.
