Synopsis
Cesar (Luis Tosar), an apartment concierge who believes he's incapable of feeling happiness, takes it upon himself to cause misery for those around him. He focuses his efforts on Clara (Marta Etura), a tenant who proves more resilient than others. Cesar resorts to disturbing tactics to break her mentally, but complications arise when Clara's boyfriend, Marcos (Alberto San Juan), enters the picture.

Résumé
While the film is primarily a psychological thriller directed by Jaume Balagueró in 2011, 'Mientras duermes' (translated as 'Sleep Tight') also incorporates elements of drama and horror. The story revolves around Cesar, a troubled character who finds solace in causing distress to others, particularly Clara, a tenant he becomes obsessed with tormenting.
