Synopsis
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel follows Miriam 'Midge' Maisel, a Jewish woman living in Manhattan with her husband Joel and their two children in the late 1950s. Midge's life takes an unexpected turn when Joel leaves her for another woman. Initially unprepared to face this new reality, Midge soon discovers her talent for stand-up comedy while performing at a nightclub. She decides to pursue a career in comedy, navigating the male-dominated world of stand-up while also trying to maintain custody of her children and manage her family's disapproval.
