Synopsis
The series begins with Marco Polo, a young Venetian trader's son, accompanying his father to the court of Kublai Khan in Mongolia during the 13th century. Marco soon becomes a trusted companion and advisor to the Khan, navigating a world filled with political intrigue, betrayal, and sexual tension as he helps Kublai in his quest for power to become Emperor of the World.
