However, their reconciliation is short-lived when Sarah confesses to an affair with Riko's best friend, Carnevale, who subsequently commits suicide. Résumé
Made in Italy (2018), directed by Luciano Ligabue, follows the life of protagonist Riko as he navigates personal and professional crises. The film explores themes of midlife struggles, friendship, betrayal, and redemption, set against the backdrop of a small town in Italy where traditional jobs like cured meats production are valued. Although not explicitly stated, it appears that the movie balances drama with elements of comedy, as suggested by its mixed genres.
