Synopsis
Claire, an academic prodigy, meets Jack at a cinema while researching the meaning of life. Jack, who appears confident and artistic but secretly harbors a passion for old books and dreams of writing, involves Claire in his scams, robbing foreign businessmen. Despite his tough exterior, Jack falls for Claire's innocence. However, fearing intimacy, he pushes her away. Abandoned, Claire spirals into self-destruction while Jack focuses on his criminal activities. Meanwhile, Linda Fox, a sharp detective, trails Jack.
