Synopsis
The movie 'Lost Door' interweaves parallel stories centering around obsession and desire. Alex, a museum guard, becomes love-struck with Nicole, whom he lives with. Kristina, an innocent woman from the Amazon, arrives in Paris and instantly falls deeply in love with Nicole as well. Seeking to disrupt their relationship, Kristina enlists the help of an intellectual playboy named Marc. By theorizing on the 'love-virus' and the futility of romance, Marc manages to manipulate Nicole before his mysterious death leaves Kristina as the prime suspect. Arrested and committed to a psychiatric hospital, Kristina is interrogated by Catherine, a young psychiatrist tasked with uncovering the truth behind her suspected murderous actions and strange sexual fantasies. Throughout their confrontations, it's revealed that Kristina's haunting memories and repressed desires ultimately open up Catherine's own repressed feelings.
