Synopsis
Loro (2018) is an anthology film directed by Paolo Sorrentino that explores the life of Italian media tycoon and politician Silvio Berlusconi during his tumultuous years between 2006 and 2009. The narrative focuses on a group of businessmen and politicians, collectively known as 'Loro' (Them), who live and act around Berlusconi. Through the character of a corrupt pimp, the film speculates on what may have happened behind closed doors during this period, particularly surrounding Berlusconi's marriage to Veronica Lario.
