Synopsis
Judith Moore's life takes a sudden turn when she discovers her husband of fifteen years has been having an affair with a younger woman, leading to their divorce. Struggling to find new purpose, Judith attends a nightclub performance by singer Liz Bailey, who inspires her to consider new possibilities in life. While out that night, Judith is kissed by a stranger, opening her eyes to new experiences. Back at her luxury apartment in New York City, she begins to notice Pat Francato, the elevator operator, and they eventually form a fragile friendship despite their differing backgrounds. Pat, who has also faced hardships including gambling debts and the loss of his daughter, finds comfort and redemption in Judith's company.

Living Out Loud is a 1998 comedy-drama directed by Richard LaGravenese. The film follows Judith Moore, a woman navigating life after her husband leaves her for another doctor.
