Synopsis
Jane Chase, a young graduate student, becomes the assistant to an eccentric zoology professor in his remote Scottish home. The professor shares his residence with two chimpanzees and Link, an elderly orangutan butler who serves as the housekeeper. However, tension arises when one of the chimps dies mysteriously. Soon after, the professor vanishes without a trace. Suddenly, Link becomes aggressive towards Jane, preventing her from leaving the house or contacting anyone for help. When Jane attempts to punish Link by locking him out, he responds with increased violence.
