Synopsis
The movie 'Linhas de Wellington' (2012) is set during the Napoleonic Wars in Portugal in 1810. After a victory over French forces at the Battle of Buçaco, the Anglo-Portuguese army commanded by Marshal Massena retreats to avoid being overwhelmed numerically. As they retreat, they organize the evacuation of civilians and destroy supplies to deny them to the French.
