Synopsis
David Gale, an anti-death penalty activist and professor, finds himself accused of murdering his colleague and fellow advocate, Janett Gamsky. Despite his protestations of innocence, he is convicted and sentenced to death row in Texas. Journalist Bitsey Bloom becomes intrigued by Gale's case and decides to interview him while he awaits execution. As she digs deeper into the story, she begins to question whether Gale is truly guilty or if there might be a larger conspiracy at play.
