Synopsis
Fred, a generous man who gives all his savings to those in need, faces difficulties when his wife and boss grow weary of his selfless lifestyle. After losing his job, Fred struggles with faith and commitment. Instead of taking to the road, he becomes a modern Robin Hood, stealing from the rich to give to the poor with his new girlfriend. Along their journey, they meet Maguette, a mysterious black man who challenges societal norms and brings wisdom to their adventure.

Résumé
Les savates du bon Dieu is a comedy-drama film directed by Jean-Claude Brisseau in 2000. The story follows Fred, a man who embodies generosity but struggles with the consequences of his selfless actions. When his life becomes difficult due to his charitable nature, he embarks on a journey of transformation, becoming a Robin Hood-like figure alongside his new girlfriend and guided by the enigmatic Maguette.
