Synopsis
The movie 'Les enfants du désordre' (1989) follows Marie, an unwed young mother who has been a misfit for most of her life. She finds herself in a reformatory school after struggling with drug addiction and prostitution. While in the reformatory, she develops a platonic relationship with an educator who tries to instill his love for theater into the students. Despite her past struggles, Marie becomes attached to Pierre, a delinquent. When Pierre is arrested for stealing a car, Marie escapes from the center, seeking refuge with her former partner and ultimately returning to drug use.
