Synopsis
In the small Normandy town of Les Déferlantes, Louise tends to Theo, a retired lighthouse keeper with whom she shares an interest in ornithology. She also keeps tabs on Florelle, another local who scours the beaches daily. When Lambert returns after years away, Louise is intrigued by his past and finds herself attracted to him despite the villagers' frosty reception towards him due to his family's maritime tragedy. As Louise and Lambert grow closer, they become determined to unravel the secrets surrounding his family's loss at sea.
