Synopsis
Ben Sanderson, an alcoholic Hollywood screenwriter, arrives in Las Vegas with the intention of drinking himself to death after his wife left him and took their son away. He meets Sera, a prostitute, and they form an uneasy friendship based on a pact of non-interference. Ben continues his self-destructive path despite Sera's efforts to help him, leading to tragic consequences.

Résumé
Leaving Las Vegas (1995) is a drama film directed by Mike Figgis. Based on the novel of the same name by John O'Brien, the story follows Ben Sanderson, a troubled screenwriter who turns to alcoholism after his family leaves him. He moves to Las Vegas with the intention of drinking himself to death but forms an unlikely friendship with Sera, a prostitute. The film explores themes of love, loneliness, and self-destruction.
