Synopsis
Learning to Drive follows Wendy (Patricia Clarkson), a Manhattan book critic whose marriage has abruptly ended, leaving her dependent on others for driving tasks. Needing to regain independence, she enrolls in driving lessons with Darwan (Ben Kingsley), a Sikh Indian taxi driver who is contemplating an arranged marriage. As they spend time together, Wendy's emotional instability due to her divorce and Darwan's cultural differences create a unique bond between them. Through their shared experiences, both find the courage to navigate their personal challenges and take control of their lives.

Résumé
Learning to Drive is a heartfelt drama-comedy directed by Isabel Coixet, set in New York City.
