Synopsis
Last Summer follows Naomi, a young Japanese woman who has lost custody of her six-year-old son, Ken. She has four days to create lasting memories with him before she loses him forever. The story unfolds on a yacht belonging to Naomi's wealthy Western ex-husband's family, anchored off the Sicilian coast. Naomi struggles to approach Ken under the watchful eye of the crew who are instructed to keep an eye on her. As days pass, Naomi's hopes seem lost until Ken starts to take an interest in her, making their last goodbye more poignant.
