Synopsis
The story of 'Last Station' revolves around the struggle of Russian author Leo Tolstoy to balance his fame and wealth with his commitment to a simple life devoid of material things. The Countess Sofya, wife and muse to Leo Tolstoy, believes that one of her husband's disciples is responsible for persuading him to sign a new will that leaves his work and property to the Russian people instead of their children. Determined to prevent this from happening, she uses every trick of seduction on the disciple in an attempt to regain control over her husband's legacy.
