Synopsis
Sara, a 22-year-old single mother, works multiple part-time jobs in Barcelona to care for her six-month-old son Joel and support her troubled younger brother Martín, who lives in a child center. Sara also relies on the help of Ramón and Flora, owners of a bar where she works, as she struggles with half-deafness and the absence of her mother. Meanwhile, Sara's father Manuel is released from prison after serving time for theft. He finds work as a moving employee emptying foreclosed buildings but his volatile character and struggle with alcoholism cause Sara to file for custody of Martín, fearing Manuel's negative influence. When Manuel announces his intention to move to Jaén with Martín, Sara feels isolated and desperate, hoping to maintain some stability in her chaotic life.
