Synopsis
Guido (Filippo Timi), a luckless veteran of the speed-dating scene in Turin, meets Slovenian immigrant Sonia (Ksenia Rappoport), a chambermaid at a high-end hotel. The two quickly fall into a passionate romance and leave the city for a romantic getaway in the country. However, Sonia's murky past begins to resurface, causing her reality to crumble as unexpected events unfold, keeping viewers on edge until the film's final moments.

La doppia ora (2009) is a tense romantic thriller directed by Giuseppe Capotondi. The film centers around Guido, a former cop turned speed-dating veteran in Turin, who finds love with Sonia, a Slovenian immigrant chambermaid at a high-end hotel. Their romance takes a dark turn when Sonia's mysterious past catches up with her, leading to a series of twists and turns that keep viewers guessing until the very end.
