Synopsis
Angela, an Italian-American woman, returns to Sicily for her father's funeral. On the ferry trip, she meets Salvo, a teenage boy who claims to be hunted by the Mafia due to a quantity of drugs he stole from criminals. Angela decides to give him a ride, and they embark on a journey through Sicily together. Salvo's amorous attentions towards Angela become apparent during their journey, leading to an ending that is hinted to be somewhat predictable.
