Synopsis
L'uomo privato follows the life of a successful university professor of law, who maintains a withdrawn existence despite his social and professional success. He occasionally engages in casual relationships but keeps reality at arm's length, attempting to control his surroundings. The plot thickens when one of his students, obsessed with the professor's life, commits suicide.
