Synopsis
Jean-Marc, a mid-level civil servant in Montreal, feels disconnected from his family and unfulfilled in his job. His wife leaves abruptly to work in Toronto, leaving him with their two daughters. Jean-Marc's life lacks passion, with his only real emotional connections being with his aging mother whose health is deteriorating. He decides to take control of his life, trying to reconnect with his children and improve his social life.
