Synopsis
The series 'Knutby' (2021) follows the events surrounding the small Swedish town of Knutby. The story begins with the mysterious disappearance of a local woman, Helga, which coincides with the arrival of a charismatic religious leader named Lars-Göran. As the search for Helga intensifies, it is revealed that she was part of an exclusive Bible study group led by Lars-Göran. The group becomes increasingly isolated and devoted to Lars-Göran's teachings, causing tension within the town. When Helga's body is finally discovered, suspicion falls on her husband, Kent, who is eventually charged with her murder. However, as the trial progresses, evidence suggests that Lars-Göran might be involved in Helga's death.
