Synopsis
In the isolated community of a reform school for teenagers, the principal's daughter is discovered to have been sexually molested. The other schoolgirls seem to know more about the incident than they're letting on but remain tight-lipped. As tensions rise and the situation worsens, one of the boys decides to take matters into his own hands and investigate the case.

Résumé
Kissan kuolema (Death of a Cat) is a Finnish-Swedish drama-thriller film released in 1994, directed by Raimo O. Niemi. Set within the confines of a reform school for teenagers, the story explores themes of power abuse and sexual violence when the principal's daughter is raped. The plot thickens as it becomes apparent that the other girls know more about the assault than they're revealing. The film also touches on coming-of-age themes as one of the boys takes it upon himself to investigate the crime.
