Synopsis
Kala azar follows a young couple who work at a pet crematorium in an unnamed city in southern Europe. They find purpose in their job of respectfully removing animal cadavers and abandoned roadkill, blurring the lines between human and animal life. Their relationship deepens within this environment until they accidentally hit a stray dog. This incident marks a turning point for their relationship, causing it to start unraveling.

Résumé
Kala azar is a drama film directed by Janis Rafa and Janis Rafailidou, released in 2020.
