Synopsis
Annie Laird (Demi Moore), a juror in a high-profile murder trial of a gangster boss, finds herself manipulated by 'The Teacher', a mob thug who threatens to harm her young son Oliver unless she convinces her fellow jurors to acquit the defendant. Annie successfully influences the jury, leading to an acquittal. However, realizing that she's put herself and her son in danger, she sends Oliver abroad for safety and begins collecting evidence against 'The Teacher' and his associates, setting up a confrontation.
